Minecraft has recently released the Happy Ghast for players to ride on and soar through the skies. However, a Harness is required – allowing you to fly with the happy ghast. How do you craft it? What materials are needed? Don’t worry! We’ll show you how to make a harness in Minecraft and how to use it with a happy ghast. Check it out 🔥
What You’ll Need
Get these materials to craft the harness!
- 3 Leather
- 2 Glass blocks
- 1 White Wool
Fortunately, these materials are extremely easy to get in Minecraft. Slay some cows, smelt some sand, and shear sheep. If you want to craft multiple harnesses, then we recommend using the looting enchantment when you kill cows, efficiency on your shovel to mine sand, and unbreaking on shears while getting wool.
Crafting the Harness
- Open a crafting table.
-
Place the items like this:
- Top row: Leather | Leather | Leather
- Middle row: Glass | White Wool | Glass
- Boom. You now have a harness.
Ride Your Happy Ghast!
Once you’re airborne, there’s a lot you can do together:
- Aerial sightseeing – glide over mountains, oceans, or custom builds for unbeatable views.
- Group adventures – carry friends as passengers for co-op exploration or minigames.
- Sky transport – haul mobs or items across long distances by attaching leads or boats underneath.
- Epic screenshots – capture dramatic shots of your world from angles you’d never reach on foot.
Harnessing a Happy Ghast isn’t just a new mechanic—it’s a whole new way to experience your Minecraft world.
