What types of server versions can I use?

You can use any jar that you want. We provide many different server versions, modpacks and minigames in the panel that are ready to use. You also have full FTP access to your server to add and remove jars as you would like. We can also assist with installing the exact server version, mods and plugins you would like.

Can I change my server hosting package?

Accepted Answer

Yes, please submit a ticket to our support staff and let us know which package you would like to change to. We will be able to complete the change within a few hours without changing your servers address.

Can I use plugins?

Yes, We provide full access to your server so you can add and remove plugins. You can also use the plugin manager in the control panel making this quick and easy.

What if the server version or mod pack I want isn’t listed?

We can install any mod pack or server version that you would like. Just let us know and we will be more than happy to set it up for you.

What is the difference between Minecraft Java and Bedrock?

Minecraft currently has two different versions of the game. The original Minecraft was written in Java and is now referred to as Minecraft: Java Edition which is mostly for PC. This is the most common version found on our servers and has the best support for mods, plugins and customization. Minecraft was formerly known as Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and was built on the language C and is used for The Windows 10 edition, Xbox, mobile and more.

When will my server be ready?

Our servers are instantly created and all information including your server’s IP and control panel login information are emailed to you when the order is completed. As soon as you choose a package your server will be ready to host a game of Minecraft, Ark, Rust, Valheim, CS:GO, Conan, Terraria, Unturned, Zomboid, Satisfactory, 7 Days to Die, Factorio, Arma 3, Starbound, ECO, The Forest, V Rising and more.

How do I use my free subdomain?

During checkout, you will have the option to select your desired subdomain. If nothing is provided then a default subdomain will be generated for your server using the format username.server_id.apexmc.co. You can find your active subdomain in your Multicraft panel at panel.apexminecrafthosting.com on your server management page. Simply change the text, save the page, and your subdomain will be updated. Note: if a subdomain is rejected it is likely because it already exists in our system. Please contact support if you think this is in error.

Do I get a MySQL database?

Yes, SQL databases are included with all of our packages. Your Multicraft control panel will have the information required for you to create and manage your databases.

Do I get a control panel with my server?

Yes, our custom version of the Multicraft control panel is included with all game server hosting packages. This web based panel gives you complete control over your entire server with an easy to use interface. You can access the console, servers files, databases, chat and more right from here. Please contact us if you would like to try a demo of the panel before making a purchase.

What uptime do you provide?

Our hardware has over 99.9% uptime and rarely becomes unavailable. The most common cause of a crashed Minecraft server is an issue with a plugin or mod which we can help diagnose and repair.

What is my server IP?

Accepted Answer

To find your servers IP you can log into the members area and open the control panel. On the main page for the server, you will see your IP address in the format of IP:PORT. For example: 199.192.122.144:25712. Enter this address into your game client and you will be able to connect. Please make sure you include the IP and PORT when connecting.

Do I need to use port forwarding for my server?

Not at all! We make it very easy to get started on your server with very little technical knowledge needed. We will send you the IP and Port combination that you will enter into the launcher which will work without any additional configuration.

Can I change my server location?

Accepted Answer

Yes, please contact our support team here to begin the process for server migration. We will have to take your server offline temporary and the transfer time will depend on your server size. On average, a transfer between regions will be completed within a few minutes. Please note that your server IP will change so if you are using a subdomain please also request that we update this. Note: The Brazil region has an extra cost for that region and will require a paid upgrade. Please use the test location br.apexmc.co to gauge if it is a good fit for you.

How do I cancel my service?

If you would like to cancel your server please log into your billing area and select the service you would like to cancel.

Can I upgrade my server and add more RAM?

Accepted Answer

Yes, To upgrade your services you must log into your billing area and choose upgrade/downgrade from the left-hand menu on the service. After selecting the new package you will be able to complete the upgrade. Once payment is received your existing service will be upgraded or downgraded automatically. Your server IP and all of the files will stay the same, the only thing that will increase is the RAM and slots. Please restart your server for the changes to take effect.
