Duplicated Mods / Plugins

This usually happens when updating a mod and the older version isn’t removed, or when the same file is uploaded more than once. When duplicates are present, the server will fail to start or load mods correctly. This often results in the following error message:

Fix: Delete any duplicated mod or plugin files from Modbox or the FTP File Access area.
Missing Dependencies
Some Hytale mods and plugins require additional files, known as dependencies, to function properly. These are usually listed on the mod’s download page or documentation. If a dependency is missing, the server may refuse to start or the mod may not work as expected.
Fix: Download and install all required dependencies alongside the main mod or plugin.

Avoid using addresses like 127.0.0.1 or 0.0.0.0, as these can cause connectivity issues. Always use your server’s public IP address.
Fix: Open the mod or plugin configuration file, update the IP address and port, save the file, then restart the server to test the changes.
