How to Download (Client)

Install CurseForge if you haven’t already, as it’s required for the modpack.

1. Open the CurseForge App and search for “Abyssal Ascent”.
2. Click Install and wait for the download to finish.
3. The modpack profile will appear under My Modpacks once complete.

How to Install (Server)

Purchase an Apex Hosting Server if you don’t already have one, then follow these steps:

1. Navigate to your Apex Server Panel and open the Game File section.
2. Use the dropdown and search for “Abyssal Ascent”, then select it.
3. In the prompts, click Change Version > Generate New World > Restart Now.
4. Wait for the server to load and join using your Abyssal Ascent modpack profile.

The Descent & Ascent

Abyssal Ascent is built around a truly unique concept: using the Immersive Portals mod to vertically stack twelve distinct dimensions directly on top of one another. You don’t start in the Overworld; you begin at the bottom, deep within the dangerous realm of the Undergarden.

Your goal isn’t exploration – it’s ascension.

You must craft, build, and fight your way up the layers of dangerous environments. Invite friends to join the adventure, you might need the extra manpower. Eventually, you will reach the surface Overworld – finally ascended.

Once the boss is defeated, you acquire the necessary items to move forward in the adventure. Each vertically stacked dimension will become more challenging than the previous one.
